Vision
To make high-quality, high-relevance cybersecurity curriculum accessible to all post-secondary education levels.
Mission
Catalog and create high-quality and relevant curricula on emerging cyber topics mapping to the NICE framework and CAE-C Knowledge Units, and make them freely available.
Goals
1. Conduct a comprehensive search of available curricula in cybersecurity repositories, directories, and among the NCAE-C community.
2. Perform gap analysis to identify high-need areas to create a cyber-ready workforce.
3. Develop high-impact, high-value curricula for the NCAE-C community.
Reconnaissance
Objective
Define a process and complete a quantitative and qualitative analysis of available curricula on cybersecurity repositories, directories, and among the NCAE-C community and ongoing initiatives.
Gap Analysis
Objective
Define a process and conduct a gap analysis of the available
curricula to identify missing content with respect to the NICE Framework, NCAE-C KUs, and employer needs.
Construction
Objective
Design and implement a curriculum development model to produce
high-quality, high-impact curriculum in six new subjects areas.
Alignment
Objective
Align new curriculum horizontally (assessments and competencies
map to NICE Framework and NCAE-C KUs) and vertically (define curriculum pathways across K-16).
